Finance Assistant AAT

Purpose of the Role: The Finance Assistant will provide day-to-day financial support, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in line with policies and procedures. This role is key to maintaining robust financial systems and supporting the wider finance team in delivering high-quality financial information.
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Support budget monitoring, ensuring income and expenditure are accurately recorded.
Carry out reconciliations, including bank, payroll, and supplier accounts.
Maintain accurate financial records using finance systems, ensuring compliance with policies.
Assist with financial planning activities, including staffing and resource costs.
Contribute to the development and improvement of financial systems and procedures.
AAT Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
Experience in finance administration or accounting support.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance systems.
A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
