Cyber Security Engineer

In your role as Cyber Security Engineer you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset. As Cyber Security Engineer, you will have a strong awareness of the cyber security threat landscape, SIEM tools, firewalls and boundary controls coupled with excellent troubleshooting and investigating skills.
Additionally, you will have a comprehensive understanding of threat analysis and cyber threat intelligence, the ability to look at complex threats and be confident regarding forensic analysis and surrounding techniques.
As a trusted part of the IT you will be responsible for:
Conducting advanced analysis of network, endpoint, and logs to identify and remediate security incidents
Tracking cyber threats, analyse data, and take action to mitigate identified risks
Providing support for vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, and compliance monitoring
Staying proactive in addressing emerging threats, gathering information to ensure security status, and engage with stakeholders for effective communication and prioritisation of work
Strong experience and knowledge of implementing and supporting Network Access Control
Familiarity with security vulnerabilities, exploits, malware, and digital forensics
Strong understand of Network, Data Centre and WebApp security
Experience conducting analysis/investigation and containment of potential data breaches or cyber security incidents
Fundamental understanding of Enterprise IT technologies such as Wintel OS & Services, Networking and Cloud Concepts
Writing and delivering reports as identified
