Our client is a prestigious architecture firm based in a vibrant and trendy part of London. Known for their innovative and award-winning designs, they have a rich history of delivering high-quality projects across Hotel, Hospitality, Residential, Built to Rent and Student Housing schemes.
Position: Project Architect
Location: Trendy part of London
Salary: £48-50K plus 2 days wfh hybrid opportunity
Responsibilities:
- Ensure projects are delivered to a high standard and have undergone quality assurance before leaving the office.
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget and on schedule.
- Provide direction on the design and/or technical aspects of projects.
- Facilitate reviews and design sessions.
- Maintain regular contact with clients and the design team.
- Oversee and support project teams.
- Mentor team members and foster a learning and growth environment.
- Ensure effective communication both internally and externally.
- Ability to work autonomously and lead design direction with high technical competency.
- Represent the studio professionally and to a high standard.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to the role.
- Ability to program time and resources, track, and report against a program.
- Knowledge of how to keep projects within budget and on schedule.
- High proficiency in Revit coordination – Navisworks use is a plus.
- Strong construction knowledge.
- Good working knowledge of specification writing.
- Ability to run Design Team Meetings.
Requirements:
- Qualified Architect with comprehensive construction experience.
- High proficiency in REVIT.
- Comfortable in a client-facing role.
- Experience working under the direction of a Senior Architect or Management Team.
