We have a great opportunity to join our team here at The Cornwall Bakery in Callington, you will be responsible to execute the site Quality Management System audits according to the risk assessed schedule. You will need to be hands on" focus on compliance within a specific bakery, working with the teams to identify non-compliance and full engagement and support to ensure company processes. Work with the bakeries to ensure compliance with relevant customer standards and codes of practice. Conduct physical factory audits (outside of the QSM audits) to drive continuous improvement in sites' capabilities for food safety, quality, packaging, environmental and sustainable requirements.
Liaise with Technical Managers to ensure that all aspects of the business are audited at the correct frequency to maintain food safety and quality. Ensure that the Quality Management System internal audit schedule is completed, and all actions closed out in a timely manner.
Ensure GMP & QA CCP audits are conducted to schedule and any non-conformances raised to bakery management. Ensure any queries raised regarding any non-conformance raised are answered or escalated to senior managers for follow up.
Competent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Teams
A level qualifications or suitable experience within Food Manufacturing environment
Risk assessment experience
