Payroll Administrator

Location: Lancaster (Office-based) To assist the Payroll Manager with the UK and international payroll function for our growing company. You will work at our state-of-the-art Lancaster office, and the main focus of your role will be to assist in the preparation of payroll for all entities, ensuring that all transactional processes relating to payroll are processed accurately and in line with agreed processes and procedures. Your attention to detail and ability to process high levels of data will be second to none, alongside a disciplined and structured approach to planning and organising your workload and accuracy. This role will suit someone who is self-motivated and confident working to a high standard to meet deadlines. Please note, this is an office-based position. The Role: Administration and the end-to-end processing of the monthly payrolls across the group ensuring that accurate and timely salary payments are made in all group locations Administration of the starters and leaver processes Assist with the administration of the company pension schemes Assist with administration of the international year-end processes Assist with administration of the company benefit schemes, e.g. healthcare, cycle to work, Christmas savings club Make changes to employee records, when necessary, e.g. change of tax details, bank details, address Maintain complete confidentiality of HR issues and payroll Providing timely support for all payroll queries Assisting with companywide benchmarking Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in finance or payroll background (preferable) Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Sound knowledge of Sage 50 payroll (preferable) What We Offer: Our offices are primed to engender a team atmosphere, with breakout spaces provided for you to enjoy time with your colleagues.
