Grumpys is an award winning casual dining restaurant located in Sunny Bank Mills in the heart of Farsley, West Leeds.We're passionate about ourlively atmosphere, authentic wood fired pizza and warm & friendly service.All of our menu is prepared in-house from our small open kitchen, including the dough and desserts.We operate from a small 5* hygiene rated open kitchen, and have a friendly hardworking team.Our 60 cover restaurant benefits from an additional 40 covers in the spring and summer due to our large outdoor terrace.

We currently have an opening for a Senior Pizza Chef to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have over 3 years experience in a similar role at a fast-paced pizzeria and is capable of leading a small team through busy shifts.

We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic person with level 2 or above food hygiene qualificationwho:

  • Has at least 3 years experience
  • Has experience of training junior chefs
  • Can maintain our high food standards
  • Controls orders, stock and wastage
  • Can work at speed whilst leading a shift
  • Keeps their kitchen clean and organised
  • Is passionate about the food they serve
  • Keeps on top of kitchen paperwork and ensures everything is well kept and traceable
  • Cares about customer experience and communicates well with the front of house team
  • Is reliable and punctual
