A key role within the business, ensuring that Nifco delivers the appropriate measurement data to support the NPI and manufacturing process. Job Purpose

As CMM operator and metrologist, as part of the Quality department, you will measure development and production parts, prepare quality documentation for ISIR, measurement reports to support NPI and production requirements. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL Excellent time management and communication skills. High level of attention to detail. Computer skills. Proficient in Excel and other MS Office application. Ability to read, translate and feedback on drawings (GD&T). Willingness to travel in line with duties. Must possess a full driving licence. Able to collate, analyse and report measurement data in a clear manner to all levels of staff. Problem solving skills Proven experience with CMM programming & operation using PC-DMIS. Able to write,

amend and troubleshoot measurement programs as required

. PREFERRED Automotive industry experience. Ability to create programs for the VMM (Mitutoyo Quick Vision) Able to use Minitab for production of capability studies & Gage R & Rs Mitutoyo Measurlink experience (SPC software) KEY RESPONIBILITIES Manage NPI, production and annual revalidation. Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure all measurement requirements are met. Take part in all relevant internal and external NPI meetings. Create gauge concepts

to support parts measurement. Produce ISIRs using CMM, VMM, projector & hand tools for PPAP submission & revalidation purposes. Producing capability studies for PPAP submission & revalidation purposes. Creation of measurement methods for in-process checks Producing Gage R & R studies for in-process measurement methods Advising the use of Geometric Tolerancing (Datum systems & controls) Schedule, arrange and verify calibration for all equipment on site. Issuing and control of all measuring equipment on site. Responsible for gauge maintenance and their overall condition. Supporting QA & Tooling with any measurement/investigation activities. Working Hours Monday to Thursday 8:00

16:45 and Friday 08:00

12:30 Overtime as the needs of the business require.
