This role is designed for a dynamic leader who can drive the company's mission to supply sustainable wine bottle packaging to a multinational clientele, focusing on commercial wines. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the wine supply chain, from production to retail, and a keen insight into sustainable packaging solutions, including bottles, cans, casks, cartons, and pouches.
Sales Leadership: Lead B2B sales initiatives, demonstrating a track record of success in sales management and team leadership. Manage two existing sales team members, set and achieve sales targets, and expand Packamama's customers and leads in the UK, France, and the US.
Utilize in-depth knowledge of the wine industry's supply chain, including bottling, contract packing, and packaging choices. Inform strategic sales opportunities and foster innovative packaging sales projects.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate closely with the CEO & Founder to align sales strategies with the company's growth objectives. Commercial Involvement: Ensure that sales teams are provided with quality products on time and at competitive prices by maintaining a commercial interest in Packamama's production processes, rather than direct engagement with production activities.
Industry Networking: Use existing contacts within the wine industry to expedite business opportunities and build lasting partnerships with producers, retailers, and influencers.
CRM Mastery: Act as a power user of Salesforce, utilizing the platform for sales management, customer relationship building, and data-driven decision-making.
Financial Acumen: Manage sales pricing, forecasting, and budgeting with an eye toward the company's P&L. Guide sound fiscal strategies and ensure the company's financial health.
Proven success in B2B sales and sales team management, with experience managing at least two direct reports.
In-depth knowledge of the wine industry's supply chain and sustainable packaging solutions.
Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to work closely with senior leadership.
Excellent networking skills with established contacts in the wine industry.
Proven understanding and experience working with Salesforce.
Strong financial management skills and motivation to work in a multinational context to contribute to the company's growth.
