Position: Housing Services Manager
Location: Flexible (Kent, Hampshire, Surrey, London, Sussex, Suffolk, Shropshire)
Salary: £43,000 (some flexibility for the right candidate)
Hours: 37 per week, Mon – Fri (flexible working)
NAG are working with a prominent Charity who support more than 650 people with varying Learning Disabilities across the Southeast, West Midlands, London and the East of England. They have a fantastic opportunity for full-time Housing Services Manager to join their Property Services team on a permanent basis.
You’ll be need to be willing to travel to their head office in Sidcup and to visit services across all their operating areas therefore it is essential to hold a valid driving licence and have access to your own vehicle. They offer great opportunities to balance work and home through their hybrid working model that enables home working and flexibility of working hours too. Typically three days at home, two in the office/visiting services.
- will work with the Head of Property Services and wider teams to provide high quality accommodation and housing services that meet the needs of our customers which are delivered efficiently, effectively and safely.
- for delivery of housing management requirements across the group (repairs & maintenance services, rental recovery & tenancy management issues).
- of planned maintenance programme.
- for procurement and management of property maintenance contractors and services.
- that financial issues e.g. rental debt/invoicing issues are identified and resolved quickly.
- and manage effective external relationships with Housing partners e.g. Local Authority.
- we meet statutory obligations for housing, including servicing and certification requirements for buildings & systems (e.g. fire/water/gas and electricity), and superior landlord requirements.
- housing systems/processes, liaising with other departments to ensure they are efficient and meet organisational needs.
- assessment of property costs for budget and rent setting process annually.
