Acrisure is seeking a Vice President, Head of Global Carrier Relationships to join our growing team in New York or London. Furthermore, the Head of Global Carrier Relationships will work with every business unit to identify opportunities to maximise revenue and execute the broader strategic initiatives of the group through the placement of its premium and the subsequent capture of revenue along the value chain.
Refinement of US retail carrier strategy in close collaboration with the placement network in Acrisure’s North American Retail (NAR) business.
Management of US Markets unit
Management of E&S Markets unit
Management of International Markets unit
Value chain capture: identifying opportunities across all segments above to drive enhanced revenue through engagement with Acrisure-owned assets along the value chain. These assets include delegated underwriting, global wholesale, TPA and servicing capabilities, reinsurance services and Acrisure’s two syndicates in Lloyd’s.
Acrisure Global Network: driving growth of the Acrisure Global Network (AGN). The AGN has developed a network of member brokers in over 140 countries around the globe, facilitating coverage for Acrisure’s clients wherever they are exposed. The AGN equally services prospects from network members seeking solutions for complex multi-national risk. Key objectives are the maximization of revenue in the AGN through commission sharing and fees, alongside the optimization of the network membership to ensure that the placement of Acrisure’s multinational risk is as effective as possible.
Familiarity with all forms of compensation; Proven track record of working with data to support effective reporting structures and strategy development.
Management of data review sessions, agenda building, documentation development and follow up.
Understanding of negotiation processes with carrier community across compensation and all elements of trading.
Data and analytical skills and approach, specifically relating to (re)insurance portfolio data and carrier compensation plans.
Effective executive-level relationship management, through quantitative and qualitative means.
Shaping of clear and effective reporting to executive and leadership communities.
Literacy in assessing carrier production reports and performance indicators.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as business administration, marketing or finance required.
Experience in utilizing technology to enhance performance and efficiency.
Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
Must be able to travel to all offices, client offices and events as needed
