Head of Software Development and Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and implement development and operational strategies, aligning them with company objectives. Use KPIs and business intelligence to drive success.
  • Software Development: Oversee Agile software delivery, code quality, and hosting infrastructure (AWS/Azure) while ensuring smooth, client-focused project execution.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead day-to-day operations, resource planning, and compliance (ISO27001), while driving continuous improvements for efficiency and profitability.
  • Team Development: Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture. Support career growth with clear progression plans, skills development, and performance management.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven leadership experience managing software development and operational teams in Agile environments.
  • Strong technical background (web, mobile technologies, cloud hosting – AWS/Azure).
  • Expertise in KPIs, resource planning, and commercial project delivery.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, balancing technical and business communication.
  • Solid knowledge of compliance standards (ISO27001) and risk management processes.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to thrive in fast-paced environments.
