3D Design Engineer | Wisbech, Cambridgeshire | Full Time | £28,000 to £40,000 depending on experience Cobra Engineering (UK) Ltd is a leading supplier of mechanical engineering services, fabrications, architectural steelwork and equipment to major UK companies in the food processing, water treatment and civil engineering industries.
We have well-equipped, purpose-built workshops based in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire and we work on sites both locally and throughout the country. Due to our continued success, we are looking to recruit an additional experienced 3D design engineer with relevant experience to join our design team using SolidWorks.
You will produce designs and drawings to provide solutions for our mechanical engineering services, fabrications and pipework requirements, supplying our fabrication workshops, site teams and external clients.
SolidWorks Excel, word and CAD applications
Metal Fabrication and pipework drawing & design
Good communication skills with a strong, flexible team ethic
Driving licence required
Liaise with our Project Managers to establish project requirements
Ensure that design solutions are accurate, on time and cost-effective
Consider the optimal fabrication and installation procedures during the design process
Create 3D models for the design solutions using SolidWorks
Take a flexible approach to your work and support the rest of the team as required so that we meet deadlines
