We have a fantastic opportunity for an HGV Fitter to join our team at our Head Offices in Abergavenny. As part of a global business in CRH and a Business Unit of Tarmac PLC, the career opportunities are limitless. Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, the HGV Fitter will be maintaining the LGV and HGV fleet to ensure their road worthiness.
On a day to day basis, the responsibilities of the HGV Fitter will include the following (not exhaustive):

Carrying out all maintenance related tasks on the fleet of LGVs & HGVs
Preparing and presenting LGVs & HGVs for MOT
Completing task specific risk assessments on systems provided
Attending refresher training for all qualifications to ensure competence for tasks
The ideal candidate will be an HGV Fitter who is experienced in the following:

Previous experience on construction related LGV/HGVs
Full UK Driving Licence
NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance
