  • 4 on days - 4 off - 4 on nights - 4 off rotating.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently carry out preventative and reactive maintenance
  • Examination of and fault finding on plant
  • Equipment and servicing activities on waste plastic sorting site
  • Ensuring health and safety environmental compliance and contributing to continuous improvement in operations, plant, and equipment availability.
  • Provide high operational availability and an efficient breakdown repair service. Diagnosis running faults and ensuring effective repairs and improvements are conducted within a minimum time scale.
  • Carry out replacement, repair, and installation work to the required standards.
  • Ensure productivity and availability exceed minimum defined standards, whilst driving best practice and continuous improvement in cost control and operations.
Requirements
  • Engineering qualifications NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Experience with PC-based PPM systems is desirable.
  • Minimum GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Experience with lifting, slinging, and mechanical lifting aids - much of the work is process plant-based with large and heavy components.
