Totum Partners is delighted to be working with a Legal Services firm currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join the Finance Team.
The ideal Credit Controller will be responsible for the following:
Establish strong working relationships with all Matter Supervisors and Billing Executives
Hold regular monthly review meetings to ensure that focus is maintained on timely billing and debt collection
Operate the Firm’s credit control system, phone and chase clients, send bill reminder
Advise fee earners on progress in chasing outstanding debts
Distribute a summary of overdue debts to the Revenue Control Manager
Responsible for dealing efficiently and effectively with queries as they arise
The ideal Credit Controller will have:
Experience working in a legal firm is essential
Good communicator with high levels of interpersonal skills
A good telephone manner when talking to clients, both internally and externally
Organised and accurate with good attention to detail
