Hours : 16 hours per week, 2 days

Salary: £12,000 to £17,948 (FTE 30,000 to £44,870)

We are currently seeking a SEN KS2 Primary Teacher to join a specialist provision supporting students aged 5-19 with ASC/SEMH needs based in Kidderminster.

The role:

Based in a recently opened specialist school, we are looking for a passionate, inspirational and engaging Primary Teacher to deliver high quality teaching and learning to children aged 7-11 with SEMH needs and other complex or anxiety related needs who may present with challenging behaviours.

We are ideally looking for teachers who are able to teach KS2 with the willingness to experience ither key stages if required.

Experience of working with pupils with SEMH and /or ASC needs in a mainstream or specialist environment is essential.

Experience:

  • PGCE/QTS
  • Experience of working in a special school environment with pupils with SEMH or ASC needs or significant SEND, SEMH and/or ASC teaching experience within a mainstream environment.
  • Post graduate diploma in SEN (desirable)
  • Experience of delivering a differentiated curriculum to pupils with a wide range of needs
