We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Science Teacher to join a vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in the Newcastle area starting ASAP . The school are open to either full time OR part time candidates, initially running until the end of term, with the potential to become a permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching KS3 and KS4 Science , including both Dual Award and Triple Award pathways, ensuring students are engaged, challenged, and supported to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with curriculum requirements Teach across Dual Award and Triple Award Science, ensuring progress for all learners Create a positive classroom environment that supports learning and progress Contribute to the wider Science department and school community Ideal Candidate Will Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics up to KS4 Be passionate about inspiring young people through Science Show excellent classroom management and communication skills What We Offer Competitive daily rate of £150+ (depending on experience) Support from a dedicated education consultant The opportunity to work in a progressive, supportive school environment Potential for a temp-to-perm contract Why Work For Education World Long and established partnerships with many local schools.
