Laser/Optical Physicist - All Levels

Working with next generation fibre laser technology this role is the bridge between theoretical physics ideas and turning these ideas into reality within manufacturing. As part of the New Product Introduction (NPI) team you play a key role in the launch and development of several new products at a fast pace.

Based out of a state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facility you will join at a time of expansion working alongside some of the optics/laser industries leading engineers and scientists on bleeding edge technology projects.

The company will look at a range of experience levels but what will be key for all the roles is a practical hands-on approach to product development with a good understanding of Physics principles.

Some of the day-to-day aspects of the role will include:

Evaluating lasers and working on the development of prototypes in collaboration with other cross functional engineering and technology teams. Supporting the verification and validation requirements for new product developments. Being involved with optical architecture design, component development and optical testing. Supporting the manufacturing team on all aspects of NPI. For this role we are looking for:

A solid understanding of physics with an interest in laser/optics technology.

A practical hands-on approach to engineering with an interest or experience of working withing a hi-tech product development environment.
