The firm are currently looking to expand their Birmingham and Leicester Casualty teams and are recruiting 2-4PQE solicitors / chartered legal executives.
This Casualty Solicitor position will see you handle your own mixed caseload of pre-litigated and litigated claims involving Employers Liability, Occupiers liability, Housing Disrepair and Highways law. You may also be asked to assist partners on more complex, multi-track casualty claims. You will be required to draft and perform legal research, investigations, pleadings and witness statements as well as attend court. You must be a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive who is 2-4 years PQE. Previous experience handling your own litigated caseload of EL/PL/OL or housing disrepair claims is essential. Successful applicants will have strong academics, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should have a real interest in this area of law, with plans to develop your career in a well-run firm.
This is a fantastic opportunity for 2-4 PQE solicitors and chartered legal executives, who are looking to build upon their previous experience in an industry-leading team.
