SEN Teaching assistant needed.

Academics a leading recruitment company based in Stoke-on-Trent are working with a local Primary School who are in need of an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with specific learning needs on a one-to-one basis. This will be a full time role to assist pupils affected by ASD throughout their school day.

What you'll be doing as a SEN Teaching Assistant

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will accompany a pupil throughout their school day and maximise their learning ability.
You will be keen to encourage that the pupil remains on task as best they can during class.
You will attend any school trips that includes your pupils to help them feel more comfortable and supported.
You will report to the Teacher on the pupil's progress so that the Teacher can make reasonable adjustments to their future lesson plans.As a SEN Teaching Assistant, Experience with specific learning needs, in particular ASD is high priority.
A full, clean DBS is required for this SEN Teaching Assistant role.
A level 3 Childcare Qualification is desirable, but not essential.
A positive outlook on education and the development of children within the academic system, as well as their social and emotional growth.Our additional benefits for this SEN Teaching Assistant role
