Mechanical Estimator- Oxfordshire Competitive Salary + Benefits We are assisting an established and rapidly growing contractor in their search for an experienced and dedicated Mechanical Estimator in Oxfordshire to oversee the preparation of accurate and reliable estimates of our Mechanical projects. As a Mechanical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing tenders, ensuring fast and accurate estimates, and contributing to the success of our projects. Key Responsibilities & Requirements: * Review project specifications, drawings and other relevant documents to understand the scope of work, materials required and project constraints. * Manage & prepare tenders, sourcing pre-project information by specified deadlines. * Ensure fast, accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates from inquiry to bid submission. * Collaborate with Stakeholders, Planning Managers, Project Managers and Engineers to ensure the alignment of project development and success. * Preparation of bid prospects ready for presentation to project managers. * Join in meetings both internal and client based and contribute to the best of your knowledge. * Assist in quality assurance procedures. * Maintain a comprehensive record of all estimates, bids, & project costs ready for presentation/documentation. * Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Construction Management or related field. * 3+ years’ experience as a Mechanical Estimator or related field. * Proven record of accomplishments in data centre/pharmaceutical contracts is beneficial. * Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts is desirable. * Proficiency in Mechanical Estimator sofwares & tools. * Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills. * Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
