HVAC and refrigeration systems for vehicles.
The purpose of this role is to lead the design and development of thermal management systems with a focus on refrigeration. This will include developing the strategy, innovation and product definition of new systems and components and supporting the design of HVAC systems to improve human comfort across global regions – India, China, USA, Brazil etc.

• Excellent understanding of HVAC systems, Refrigeration, Heat pumps, coolants etc with the ability to apply knowledge to a range of applications and countries
• Ability to develop strategy for Refrigeration, Air flow systems, A/C Compressor rationalisation and Refrigerant compliance to new standards
• Understanding of thermal analysis / CFD modelling and 1D simulation tools (e.g., mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, etc)
• Experience of HVAC / refrigeration thermal management solutions (e.g., Use of CAE tools for thermal analysis and 1D simulation – Amesim, Altair, Ansys Fluent, Hypermesh, FloTHERM etc
• Able to lead and drive HVAC projects in a fast-paced environment in conjunction with global R&D teams
• An understanding of commercial and technical standards for global cooling/heating systems would be ideal
• Knowledge of interfacing with electronics, ECUs, battery systems etc would be useful
