Your new company
Hays Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a primary school in Northwich as they require an experienced and motivated HLTA to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a long-term temporary role that will last until the end of the academic year.
Your new role
In your role as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will advance the pupils' learning in a number of environments, including 1:1, group support and whole class in the absence of the class teacher years 2 & 3. You will ensure that all learning materials and delivery is in line with the school's curriculum and pupils' learning requirements. You will work closely with class teachers to monitor pupil progress, behaviour and learning needs.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered in your application you must have full 'Right to Work' as well as a minimum of 40 days referenceable experience in the last 2 years, as well as:

  • An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent HLTA qualification
  • Experience of independently delivering lessons to groups of pupils in the absence of a class teacher
  • Confident and positive approach to behaviour management and ability to plan, organise and use own initiative
