Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

·Co-ordination of equipment requests from engineering staff

·Establishing demand profiles

·Creation of orders in Oracle

·Arranging delivery to company premises and direct to site locations.

·Dealing with business and supplier queries including resolution of invoice queries.

·Stock Management to include stock taking.

·Ensuring that orders are raised in line with requests dates and invoices are paid to suppliers on time

·Supplier interface

·Procurement and Standards interfaces

·Data input, management and query writing

·Management of Northern Powergrid stock items

·Attendance at business interface meetings both on-site and off-site at various locations.

·Contract management of suppliers, including planning and co-ordination of deliveries to company premises and site locations

·Data analysis to facilitate mapping of demand profiles for supplier lead times/business requirements.

Key Competencies

•Excellent communication skills

•Experience using Microsoft Office applications

•Organisational and time management skills

•Knowledge of Oracle, in particular ‘Inventory and Procurement Modules’

•Materials management

•Analytical skills

Qualifications and Attributes

Essential Qualifications and Experience

•Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent

•Full UK clean driving licence

•Experience working with Microsoft Office products

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

•Educated to degree level in relevant subject

•Experience using Oracle

•Experience in materials management
