My client is looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager (Independent Consultant) to strengthen its European regulatory affairs team and support the registration of plant protection products in the United Kingdom.
Prepare, submit, and maintain registration dossiers for plant protection products under the UK regulatory system, liaising with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and other relevant authorities.
Ensure compliance of ecotoxicology sections across all stages of the application process, including post-approval management and renewals.
Keep abreast of evolving regulatory guidance and ensure alignment with EU zonal frameworks where applicable.

Mission 2 – Provide Scientific and Technical Expertise
Apply sound knowledge of risk assessment principles, ecotoxicology guidelines, and statistical analysis.
Mission 3 – Lead Projects and Collaborate Across Borders
Manage multiple registration projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
Interact effectively with internal teams, external consultants, and regulatory authorities to clarify requirements and provide scientific justification.
Contribute to strategic decisions within Sharda’s European regulatory network and support coordination with colleagues in continental Europe and India.

Proven experience in ecotoxicology and registration of plant protection products in the UK and/or EU regulatory environment.
Strong analytical and scientific skills, including data interpretation and study review .
Excellent communication skills in English , both written and spoken; The opportunity to shape regulatory strategy and directly influence product access to the UK market.
Location: United Kingdom – Home-based position with occasional travel to European offices or regulatory meetings.
