Route Planner

Our client, a leading food manufacturer is looking for a transport professional to optimise their route planning and enable the efficient transfer of inventory, so as to enhance delivery efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure efficient and effective planning of all routes.
- Ensure efficient and effective stock transfer between the three business sites.
- Assist with loading accuracy, stock rotation and liaising with stock control.
- Liaise effectively with drivers and warehouse staff.
Candidate requirements
- A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent will be desirable.
- Route or Transport planning experience within a FMCG environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
Salary will be circa £35K to £42K + Benefits.
The role will be based onsite in the Essex area.
