Key Responsibilities:

Analyse project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.

Conduct site visits to gather information on materials, labour, and other project-related costs.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to determine the overall scope of work and project requirements.

Prepare and present cost estimates and budgets to clients and stakeholders.

Monitor project progress and make adjustments to estimates as necessary.

Maintain and update a database of cost information and industry standards.

Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

Prepare and submit bid proposals for new projects.

Assist in the preparation of project schedules and timelines.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
