This role will see you working as part of the Bath-based structural engineering team, focusing on a diverse portfolio of projects in the UK and around the world. We're seeking creative candidates with an interest in computational techniques and a passion for staying at the forefront of industry changes, including reducing embodied carbon and adopting modern methods of construction in structural design.
As a Senior Structural Engineer - Large Projects, you will:
# Work independently and as part of a team, offering creative solutions.
# Share your work for review by senior colleagues and review the work of others for quality assurance.
# Mentor and assist Graduates and less experienced Engineers, contributing to their professional development.
# Actively maintain an external and internal network.
We are looking for Senior Structural Engineer - Large Projects candidates with:
Extensive building structures design experience.
Experience as a lead structural engineer on major projects.
Proficiency in analysis software (e.g., Experience with BIM and modelling software (e.g., Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper) and adaptability to new packages.
Chartered Membership of the ICE or IStructE with the Engineering Council UK or equivalent body.
A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.
Ability to provide pastoral care to junior team members and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
