Overview: Working alongside our client, a successful injection moulding manufacturer, as part of their growth plan we are looking for an Injection Moulding Setter to join their team. Remit:

  • Candidates MUST HAVE demonstrable experience within injection moulding manufacturing with good mould setting and processing skills
  • This opportunity will suit an injection moulding setter who is looking to continue their development and further their career within the industry
Role:
  • As Injection Moulding Setter you will be required to perform mould set ups and changes in an efficient manner according to the production schedule
  • In the role of Injection Moulding Setter, you will perform real time maintenance on all primary tooling, machinery and auxiliary equipment as required
  • Assist the maintenance department within this process on technical issues as they arise
  • Troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical issues on equipment to provide timely short term and long-term solutions
  • Support and complete tool trials
  • Support the company with quality objectives related to requirements within ISO9001:2008
  • Perform all duties in a safe, non-hazardous manner in compliance with safety standards
Experience Requirements:
  • Previous experience within injection moulding manufacturing is ESSENTIAL
  • Experience of process problem solving within an injection moulding environment
  • Industry recognised injection moulding qualification
  • Basic level of Numeracy and Literacy is required
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive can-do attitude
