About the Role: We are partnering with a leading manufacturing firm to find a dedicated Quality Technician. This role is crucial in supporting frontline manufacturing teams to ensure high-quality standards and effective troubleshooting of nonconforming materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Model and uphold high standards of conduct and leadership.
- Review manufacturing processes and provide actionable feedback.
- Identify technical performance issues and recommend improvements.
- Communicate effectively about product quality, safety, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with team supervisors, assemblers, engineers, and quality departments.
- Ensure adherence to product quality standards and manage non-conforming materials.
- Assist with quality reporting, gauge instructions, and capability studies.
- Follow company policies and adapt to shift work as needed.
Qualifications:
- Educated to “A Level” standard or equivalent; a degree or HND in a technical field is preferred.
- Proven experience in manufacturing or quality control.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Knowledge of Quality Systems (AS9100, ISO9001) and ability to interpret engineering drawings is advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and adhere to personal protective equipment requirements.
