About the Role: We are partnering with a leading manufacturing firm to find a dedicated Quality Technician. This role is crucial in supporting frontline manufacturing teams to ensure high-quality standards and effective troubleshooting of nonconforming materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model and uphold high standards of conduct and leadership.
  • Review manufacturing processes and provide actionable feedback.
  • Identify technical performance issues and recommend improvements.
  • Communicate effectively about product quality, safety, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with team supervisors, assemblers, engineers, and quality departments.
  • Ensure adherence to product quality standards and manage non-conforming materials.
  • Assist with quality reporting, gauge instructions, and capability studies.
  • Follow company policies and adapt to shift work as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to “A Level” standard or equivalent; a degree or HND in a technical field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing or quality control.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems (AS9100, ISO9001) and ability to interpret engineering drawings is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and adhere to personal protective equipment requirements.
