Role Summary:

The Project Manager will oversee the construction and delivery of utility-scale photovoltaic solar

projects across the UK. This role involves managing the team through all project stages - from

development to commissioning - and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment.

- Define RFPs and scope of work for EPC firms, and participate in subcontractor selection and

negotiations.

- Evaluate potential solar sites and assist in due diligence.

- Act as the Project Manager for EPC on PV solar projects, overseeing design reviews, change

management, and permitting.

- Monitor construction progress, adjust schedules, and address issues.

- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure contract compliance.

- Manage project documentation, quality control, and internal/external reporting.

- Support the development of policies, procedures, and safety management systems.

- Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, utilities, and clients.

Essential Criteria:

- 6-8 years' experience in project management, particularly in EPC construction.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, and Primavera P6.

- Strong communication and presentation skills.

- Willingness to travel and a clean UK driving licence.

- Proven ability to meet business objectives, manage budgets, and handle change orders.

Desirable Criteria:

- PMP certification or an undergraduate degree in relevant fields.

- Experience in Electrical Engineering and leadership skills.
