ALM and Trading plays a critical role in shaping the way we manage our FX and other balance sheet risks (liquidity, interest rates, credit) to provide competitive rates for our customers and, to make sure we're doing that in the best way possible, we're now looking for a talentedBusiness Analyst (ALM/Treasury & FX) to work in our ALM & Trading team. Here's what you'll be doing as Business Analyst (Treasury and FX):- Analyse existing Treasury and FX trading practices and processes to identify areas for improvement. Conduct thorough assessments of workflows, systems, and data to identify opportunities for optimization and reduction in risk
- Take a lead role in the implementation of an updated/new Treasury Management System (TMS) and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful integration and adoption
- Assess and provide regular reporting on the performance and effectiveness of Treasury and FX trading operations. Additionally assess the performance of our banking and hedging partners to ensure we're minimising our financial and operational risks
- Represent the ALM and Trading team as a subject matter expert for new business projects and initiatives. Collaborate with the various stakeholders across the company to ensure ALM/Treasury and Trading requirements are met.
- Operate as a back-up for the trading desk and assist in executing FX hedging transactions and managing FX risk.
- Self starter with at least 3 years' hands on experience at a financial institution or fintech, preferably in a Treasury team
- Firm grasp of financial markets and hedging instruments with a particular focus on FX products (FX and forwards, options a plus)
- Familiarity with FX trading systems and tools (360T, FXALL, FXGO, etc)
- Proficiency with Excel and other business analysis tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc)
- Analytical mindset with strong problem solving abilities
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in facilitating change management with treasury or trading processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess a strong sense of accountability and responsibility
- Previous experience in implementing a Treasury Management System (TMS)
- Coding experience (SQL, Python, etc) for more detailed analysis of data
- Previous experience with asset and liability management (ALM) and/or risk management (liquidity, interest rate or credit)
- Experience in trading FX and other Treasury products (money-market, repo, etc)
- Be part of building a meaningful product in a growing fintech scale-up;
