Our Manchester division is seeking a motivated CAD Technician to join our team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled CAD Technician to support our infrastructure and structural group. This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced professionals who will provide training and guidance to help you advance in your career. You will be involved in developing solutions for infrastructure projects, leveraging your full range of technical skills.

The attributes required to successfully fulfil this role are:

  • Relevant industry experience and competency in the use of 2D / 3D AutoCAD and REVIT for buildings design
  • engineering projects
  • A proven track record of producing quality models and accurate drawings using design software
  • Experience with an R.C. detailing package (Multi-RC, CADS RC or equivalent) is desirable
  • Aware of current technology, industry best practice, be inventive and innovative in ways to improve quality and
  • reduce costs
  • Relevant technical knowledge and understanding of buildings and structures
  • Ability to incorporate health and safety practice in design
  • Able to manage a challenging work load and work to tight schedules
  • Willingness to learn and receive training.
  • A positive, proactive and personable nature to blend in with the existing team of talented engineers
