Release Test Manager
Contract Duration : 6 months
Location: Remote – UK

Job Description
The Release Test Manager will be responsible for overseeing the testing and quality assurance processes for software releases. This role involves coordinating with various teams to ensure that all releases meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Release management and testing, used to working in agile ways of working - using JIRA for test roadmaps
Use JIRA for physical lab
Global fi or telco background
Testing networks, not domain
Plan and Manage Testing Activities: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for software releases.
Coordinate with Teams: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software releases.
Monitor and Report: Track testing progress, identify issues, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful releases.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all software releases meet the company’s quality standards and comply with industry best practices.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of testing processes, results, and any issues encountered.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
Skills:
·Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
·Excellent project management and organizational skills.
·Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·Proficiency in testing tools and software.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
