The role focuses on delivering British Safety Council audit and consultancy services to a wide range of clients. We have opportunities across the UK, particularly in the South West and internationally, especially across the GCC and Middle East. Key Responsibilities As an Associate Consultant, you will Deliver BSC audit and consultancy products/services as required and agreed Follow BSC’s quality assurance processes in all audit and consultancy delivery Attend standardisation meetings (remunerated) and relevant training as required Maintain your professional competency through CPD Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your work Support the continual improvement of BSC audit and consultancy products/services by providing constructive feedback What We Are Looking To be considered for this role, you must have A suitable OHS qualification equivalent to EQF Level 6 or hig her (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma, BSC Diploma, relevant Bachelor’s degree An accredit ed Lead Auditor qualificat ion (ISO, IRCA, CQI or equivalent At lea st five years’ experie nce as a practitioner in Health, Safety, Wellbeing or Environmental management A minimum of five years’ audit experie nce, either internal or external Demonstrable experience in client relationship management Strong IT literacy, including Word and Excel Excellent written communication skills, particularly in report writing The following attributes are beneficial but not essential Graduate or Chartered Membership of IOSH or equivalent professional body Specialist qualifications in related consultancy areas (e.g. fire safety) Membership of relevant professional bodies such as IFE or I IRSM Experience working internationally, especially in the Middle East or GCC.
