Java Technical Lead

Were looking for a Java Technical lead to work in the UK on a fixed term contract basis. As a Java Technical Lead, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing secure systems while supporting the development and operation of Java software solutions. We are looking for someone who can be a Java subject matter expert, you should have extensive expertise with Java and have considerable experience. Location: London, Uk (hybrid or remote basis) 
Type: Fixed term contract (for 12+ months)
 
Building software to expected quality and standards using distributed enterprise frameworks
Participating in code, test & other quality reviews
Debugging basic software components and identify code defects for remediation
Enabling the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments
Automating deployments in test and production environments
Extensive experience working with Java 
Hands on Java application design, software development and automated testing (Java 8 and higher)
Experience with Test driven development and unit testing frameworks
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT and code build tools like IntelliJ, including DevOps concepts and CI/CD tools
Familiar with Agile or other rapid application development methods
