My client is building a payment service to make money flow more efficiently through businesses and the economy. They are seeking a DevOps Squad Lead to lead teams to manage and automate repetitive processes for development teams

As a DevOps Squad Lead, you will play a key role in building the underlying infrastructure estate as well as the continuous integration/continuous deployment pipeline to build, package, and deploy products

In order to hit the ground running they are looking to hire a DevOps Squad Lead to spearhead the project with good knowledge of:

  • Demonstrable years of experience as a Senior Platform engineer or equivalent.
  • Recent hands-on delivery examples
  • Strong understanding of platform engineering processes and practices.
  • Previous experience managing/mentoring multi-site technical teams

Tech stack:

  • Containers: Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
  • Infrastructure-as-code: Terraform
  • Configuration Management: Amazon EC2 and Saltstack
  • CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD
  • Data/Messaging: Amazon Aurora (Postgres), ElastiCache (Redis), AmazonMQ (RabbitMQ)
  • API: Tyk API Gateway, Apache
  • Monitoring/Logging: Datadog and SumoLogic
  • Security: IAM (Identity Access Management), Security Groups, mTLS
  • Other: VPC and general networking
