If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you Prospero Teaching, a leading teaching recruitment agency, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join a dynamic team in Blackburn. About the Role: Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to identify and address challenging behaviour in students. Develop and implement individualised behaviour plans to support students in making positive choices. Foster positive relationships with students, building trust and encouraging open communication. Advocate for students emotional well-being and mental health. Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.What we are looking for: A minimum of 2 years experience working with children and young people in an educational setting. A proven track record of successfully supporting students with behavioural challenges. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. The ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. Strong understanding of child development and behaviour management we offer: Location - Blackburn Position - Behaviour Mentor Contract or position start date - ASAP Contract or position end date (if applicable) - July 2024 Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary - Permanent Full time/part time - Full time Minimum rate of pay - £100 - £120 per day (depending on experience) Hours - Mon - Fri (term time only)TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two yearsOTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
