Salesforce, the global leader in CRM and digital transformation, is seeking an inspirational and dynamic Area Vice President (AVP) of TMT to join our Sales Leadership Team. This is a unique opportunity to lead, innovate, and drive growth in a critical business unit while empowering some of the world’s most influential industries to thrive in an ever-evolving landscape.
As AVP of TMT, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Salesforce’s strategy for these sectors, driving top-line growth, and building an organisation recognised for its operational excellence, innovation, and culture. Define the Strategy: Develop and execute a bold, forward-thinking growth strategy that positions Salesforce as the trusted partner for the TMT Industries
Build and lead a high-performing sales organisation that delivers measurable results while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and inclusion.
Cultivate deep relationships with CxO-level stakeholders, helping them unlock transformative value through Salesforce solutions.
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with cross-functional leaders to align resources, drive seamless execution, and deliver customer-centric results.
As AVP of TMT, you will lead with vision, strategy, and execution to deliver on the following:
Shape and execute Salesforce’s sales strategy for TMT, driving substantial year-over-year revenue growth.
Build Salesforce’s presence within these industries, expanding into new accounts while deepening relationships with existing customers to maximise loyalty and retention.
Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying opportunities for digital transformation and innovation to position Salesforce as a market leader.
Lead and inspire a sales organisation that includes, Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs), and Account Executives (AEs), ensuring a disciplined focus on deal closure and execution.
Establish robust sales processes and key performance metrics to create predictable, scalable growth at all levels.
Drive operational rigour through data-driven decision-making, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Work closely with leaders across Marketing, Customer Success, Solution Engineering, Sales Strategy, and Employee Success to align strategies and resources that enhance customer outcomes.
Act as a strategic advisor to the UKI CEO, influencing decisions that drive Salesforce’s growth and impact.
Talent Development and Culture
Recruit, mentor, and develop a diverse and inclusive team of high-performing sales professionals.
Foster a culture of trust, innovation, and continuous improvement, empowering your team to deliver exceptional results.
Champion Salesforce’s core values and ensure they are embedded in every aspect of your leadership.
The AVP of TMT will be a visionary leader with:
10+ years of experience in enterprise software or applications sales, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue goals and driving growth in complex, matrixed organisations.
Expertise in consultative sales, strategic account planning, ROI articulation, and delivering customer-centric outcomes.
Deep understanding of the TMT sectors, including market trends, challenges, and opportunities for transformation.
A dynamic, forward-thinking leader with a track record of driving transformational change in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
A reputation as a talent multiplier, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and inclusion.
