Building Surveyor Contract Full Time

As our Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing all costs relating to our projects. Your focus is to minimise the costs of a project and enhance margin and value for money, whilst still achieving the required standards and quality. This will also include procurement, subcontract management inclusive of administration of the contract, monthly payments and final account settlement.
We are pleased to say, this role can accommodate agile working arrangements.

HNC in Surveying or Construction or equivalent
Experience of working within the Construction industry for a Main Contractor or JCT
Negotiating and networking skills
COINs user experience
Different methods of construction ie Timber Frame
Collating and issuing tender packs for sub-contractor work packages
Negotiation and analysis of Sub contractor tender returns
Producing tender analysis for subcontract work packages
Subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts
Attending site project meetings
Responsible for project lead with HA, including prepare and issue monthly HA valuations, cash flow forecasts, key date trackers
