Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C+E (Class 1) Driver

The Best Connection are seeking to recruit HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers to work with their client near Darlington. The company are an award winning haulier who specialises in curtain side and flatbed transportation of loads for their clients.

The role:

You will be required to complete drops of product to designated deliveries.
Experience is desired as this job role is speedy, efficient and accurate delivery to customers at set times.
Either steel & flatbed, or curtain side general haulage experience.
Day runs & Tramping positions available.
This is a customer facing role, so you must be friendly and professional as you will be representing both the Client and The Best Connection.

The candidate:

Full and in date HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) UK driving licence.
Valid and in date CPC & Digi cards.
Minimum of 1 year commercial driving experience for insurance purposes.
Smart appearance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Positive attitude to customer care.

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday
07:00am start time

Pay Rates

£13.00 per hour (PAYE) - flat rate all hours
