Role Description

This is a full-time on-site only role for a Drafter at KLM Engineering Ltd located in Earith, Cambridgeshire. The Drafter will be responsible for performing day-to-day drafting tasks, including creating and modifying technical drawings, The Drafter will have experienced knowledge creating models and drawings specifically for manufacturing sheet metal products. The Drafter will collaborate with engineers and designers, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. The Drafter will also contribute to the design and development of new projects when required.

Knowledge of CAM software and direct experience in manufacturing processes would be an advantage.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Solidworks CAD software and drafting techniques
• Knowledge of engineering principles and ability to interpret technical drawings
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience with fabrication and assembly drawings is a plus
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Relevant technical degree or certification
