Multi Trades Recruitment are looking for an experienced Crane Coordinator for a long term job based on site at Sellafield in Cumbria.
The role is required on site at Sellafield as part of the major projects department. It is designed to support the Lifting Manager in the execution of his duties, ensuring adequate manpower, plant, equipment and accessories are available in accordance with agreed programmes and schedules. The Lifting superintendent / Coordinator will be responsible for but not limited to:
About The Job
Immediate start available
Work until the end of 2025 at the earliest - likely extended
Work will be supporting the lifting manager in the following duties:
  • Ensure cranes are issued safely and effectively in accordance with the project EOTC procedure
  • Ensure all EOTC checks are carried out prior to issue of the crane
  • Ensure no other work groups are working in the crane restricted Zone
  • Ensure correct lifting documentation is in place before issuing crane for use
  • Ensure attendance at Lifting Operations Site Stake Holder meetings
  • Regular site walk downs to ensure adherence with the EOTC procedure
  • Mandatory attendance at the project Plod
  • Manage isolations of the cranes with the JV electrical department
  • Facilitate work when required within the crane exclusion zone
42 hours per week
£26.14 to £34.36 per hour
About You
CSCS Card - essential
Previous experience with all types of overhead cranes
Ideally have nuclear experience
Must have BPSS clearance
High level of English & Maths
Computer literate
