Java Backend & Java Full Stack Developer Required ASAP | Hybrid - Glasgow | Inside IR35 Contract


Our client a global consultancy is currently recruiting for a key customer within the Banking domain.


This is a Hybrid role with 3 Days Onsite - Candidates must be locally based or able to relocate.

We have visibility on interview slots with the end customer so if you are interested please hit apply.

Skills Required:

  • JVM language (Java/Scala/Kotlin – must have Java 11+)
  • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web technologies
  • Proficiency in dependency injection frameworks (Spring / Spring Boot)
  • Understanding of relational databases
  • Experience with unit testing using Mockito, Integration and End-to-end testing and other testing methodology.
  • Familiarity with UI technologies like ReactJs, JavaScript, CSS etc.


Desired Skills:

  • Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
  • Security frameworks / standards
  • Understanding of data streaming and messaging frameworks (Kafka, Spark, etc.)
  • Understanding of containers (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.)
  • Experience in automating deployment, releases and testing in continuous integration, continuous delivery pipelines.
