Care Assistant

Whether you've already worked in social care, been caring for a vulnerable loved one, or you dedicate your time to helping others; your life experiences will have given you the essential qualities needed to provide care to others - compassion, understanding, and patience. On a typical day, you'll be visiting clients in the comfort of their own homes. Your responsibilities may include assisting with personal care including continence support, washing and dressing, managing medications, cooking or preparing hot meals, and helping with domestic tasks. *Key requirements for this role:*
* A passion for helping others, previous caring experience is desirable but not essential.
* A driving licence is essential, we have fleet cars available for this area.
* We recruit people who live in the following postcode areas for this role: FK6, FK7, FK8, FK9, FK10, FK11, FK12, FK15, FK16, FK13, FK14, PH4, FK17, FK18 and FK19
* You should be flexible to work various shifts, including alternate weekends
* This role is subject to a DBS/PVG check

* Shift pay from start to finish of your shift, plus mileage

^In Scotland, all care staff are required to register with the Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC) and ensure they maintain their annual renewals, the regulators for the social service workforce in Scotland. You must also work towards achieving your SVQ Level 2 qualification. Cera fund your qualification but there is a SVQ registration fee to be paid by the employee.
