RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Work in a multidisciplinary team collaborating with Technical Lead, Delivery Manager, Test Engineer and Technical Architect to ensure project is delivered in a timely manner, the deliverables meet the customer requirements and conform to the QA standards.
  • Work with Technical Lead to ensure the solution implementation as is per high-level design and architecture.
  • Technically support and mentor less experienced members of the team.
  • Advocate continuous improvement through effective retrospectives, recommendations and driving change.


PERSON SPECIFICATION:


  • Essential skills:
  • Java (7+)
  • Database development (PostgreSQL)
  • Spring Framework (e.g. Spring Boot and plugins)
  • REST
  • Web app development using Angular
  • Testing frameworks (e.g. Junit, Cucumber, Selenium)
  • Experience of Azure services
  • Experience of the full software development lifecycle
  • Experience of source version control ideally Git
  • Experience of Agile methodologies
  • Continuous Integration (e.g. Jenkins, Maven)
  • Understanding of cyber security
