We are in search of a highly motivated individual, who is energised by the opportunity to be a cosmetic industry leader. The ideal candidate will possess a clear passion and proven track record in developing cutting-edge products, utilizing highly effective ingredients to showcase the brands scientific prowess.


If you have deep technical knowledge and a sharp enthusiasm for end to end product development, coupled with an engaging and personable nature, then you could be the ideal candidate for this role


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with Founder to create and execute a clear strategy for new product development (NPD), finding opportunities for innovative market-leading products.
  • Maintain a continuous pipeline of new ideas and ensure successful delivery of each new product to market.
  • Supervise all stages of NPD, including formulation, testing, production, and launch dates, while identifying and addressing potential risks.
  • Manage the product portfolio, suggesting improvements, re-formulations and cost-saving measures to stay competitive.
  • Lead and oversee the Product Development team, ensuring their success aligns with company goals.
  • Foster strong relationships with key partners such as manufacturers, suppliers, and testing facilities.
  • Coordinate NPD efforts across departments like Operations, Marketing, and Sales, ensuring smooth implementation.
  • Ensure production quality and compliance with regulations, including global standards.
  • Provide technical support and identify opportunities for product enhancement.
  • Oversee compliance and registration processes.


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive experience in technical product development, including a thorough understanding of compliance, regulations, raw materials, and global registrations.
  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks concurrently, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Adaptable and at ease in a dynamic and expanding work environment.
  • Prior experience in the beauty industry, particularly in skincare cosmetics, is essential.
  • Strong collaborative skills, adept at prioritization, and capable of influencing stakeholders effectively.
  • Previous involvement in entrepreneurial ventures and founder-led businesses.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing and leading teams effectively.
