THE FIRM


This role represents a significant opportunity within a prominent investment bank, where you will oversee a diverse portfolio of global project finance assets across EMEA. It offers an established platform to lead a high-performing team in infrastructure and energy investments.


THE ROLE


As the Head of Portfolio Management, your primary responsibility will be to spearhead portfolio management activities. This entails collaborating closely with origination and execution teams to optimize performance and mitigate credit risk. Your extensive experience in managing Infrastructure & Energy assets, coupled with exceptional credit skills, will be pivotal in driving success in this role.


Key duties include leading a team of portfolio managers, mentoring junior talent, and fostering robust relationships with external stakeholders such as banks, advisors, and sponsors. Your strong leadership abilities and interpersonal skills will play a crucial role in cultivating a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.


THE CANDIDATE


We are in search of a seasoned professional with the below attributes:


  • 9+ years of experience in managing a portfolio of Infrastructure & Energy assets
  • Experience from a leading project finance bank or infrastructure debt fund
  • Excellent analytical skills including financial modelling and credit risk analysis
  • Excellent leaderships skills with strong interpersonal skills and experience with managing and leading a team
