Responsibilities
- Create and implement engaging and interactive drama lesson plans
- Teach drama classes to students ranging from primary to secondary levels
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate drama productions and performances
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students on their performances and progress
- Assess and evaluate student performances to monitor and track individual progress
- Stay up-to-date with current drama and performing arts educational practices and trends
- Bachelor's degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience as a Drama teacher, preferably in a primary/secondary school setting
- Strong knowledge of drama and performing arts curriculum and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom of students and maintain a positive learning environment
- Passion for drama and the ability to inspire and motivate students in their creative endeavours
