Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic PR Specialist to join our global public relations team. As the UK PR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, leading key media interactions, executing product-focused PR campaigns, and contributing to the overall success of our PR initiatives. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about public relations, have a knack for storytelling, and possess a deep understanding of the consumer tech and lifestyle industry. We would prefer that the candidate is based in London or within easy commuting distance.


Key Responsibilities:

Daily Point of Contact: Serve as the daily point of contact with key media contacts, fostering and maintaining strong relationships with journalists and industry spokespeople.

  • Campaign Execution: Oversee and execute multiple product-focused PR campaigns simultaneously, ensuring their success and alignment with our objectives.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to daily meetings, liaise with the Head of PR, and provide regular updates on PR activities to keep the team informed.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with current PR trends, tools, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our strategies.
  • Media Network: Build and maintain a network of media contacts, including influencers and press commentators, in the consumer tech and lifestyle sectors.
  • Storytelling: Develop news angles, stories, and pitches that enhance our product offerings and services, capturing the attention of the target audience.
  • KPI Achievement: Fulfill the business's key performance indicators and consistently meet or exceed targets.
  • Proposal Contribution: Collaborate on PR proposals and target setting with the Head of PR to drive successful campaigns.
  • Data Management: Maintain meticulous records, ensuring all logistics are well-organized and up-to-date.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders within the organization to ensure alignment and success.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze PR coverage and provide well-written reports to evaluate and enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Innovation: Bring forth innovative and creative ideas to launch various products successfully.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with the broader organization on press campaigns, creative projects, and PR solutions to drive a unified strategy.
  • Proactive Media Engagement: Be proactive and reactive in managing media relationships and seizing PR opportunities.
  • Event Participation: Attend industry events, award ceremonies, media tours, and other relevant gatherings to represent the organization.


Relevant Experience:


  • B2C PR Experience: Demonstrated experience in directing B2C PR accounts, showcasing your ability to connect with consumers.
  • Agency Expertise: Essential agency experience with a strong understanding of agency operations.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, including excellent presentation and data analysis capabilities.
  • Copywriting and Marketing: Evidence of proficiency in copywriting, marketing, and report writing.
  • Event Management: Experience in event management and client liaison to support the successful execution of campaigns.
  • Industry Knowledge: Essential knowledge of the consumer tech and lifestyle industry, including trends and key players.
  • Networking: Demonstrated ability to build a network of influencers and press commentators.
